Yesterday, Modersohn was awarded the title "Family-friendly company in the district of Herford 2023" for the second time by the cooperation alliance Kompetenzzentrum Frau und Beruf OWL, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of East Westphalia in Bielefeld, the Chamber of Crafts of East Westphalia-Lippe in Bielefeld and the Intercommunal Economic Development in the district of Herford.
In a festive setting, the honouring of the award-winning companies took place in the district hall of the city of Herford. 46 organisations received the coveted award, which was presented to them by District Administrator Jürgen Müller (Herford) and Eva Leschinski, Head of the Competence Centre Women and Work OWL, for the compatibility of family, work, care and flexible working models or support offers.
District Administrator Jürgen Müller emphasised in his speech that a quality rating, such as the family-friendly company award, can be a support for employers in their search for employees. A clear sign of the need for the award is also the fact that so many companies applied through the award procedure.
For the selection process and the award in 2025, he again offers his full support.

In 2002, Wilhelm Modersohn became aware of the SAF2304 (1.4362) material through Avesta in Sweden. In 2003 Modersohn introduced the first Lean Duplex steel for system products in the German market for fastening systems.

As an independent representative of fastening systems from the company Lutz from Wertheim, Wilhelm Modersohn sen. had recognised early on that there was a great demand in the market for fastenings in the area of masonry facades. In March 1970, he and two employees founded the company, which today has over 140 employees.
