On Wednesday, the Regenbogen Comprehensive School in Spenge held its annual career exploration day for the eighth grade. On this occasion, the students were able to find out about different apprenticeship professions at various Spenger companies.Last year, the information event had to be cancelled for corona reasons; this year, it could take place again, albeit in a very different form. The usual company presentation via video presentation and a tour of the company were not included.
Instead, Managing Director Wilhelm Modersohn held his presentations outdoors and introduced the MODERSOHN company to a total of just over 100 pupils, divided into four groups. Afterwards, our trainees from the areas of production, administration and IT presented a brief overview of the tasks and requirements of their job description and were available to answer the pupils' questions.
Provided with information material and small promotional gifts, the eighth graders set off again with their teachers after the half-hour taster course; on to the next company.
We thank you for the interest and hope that the event can take place again in its usual form next year.
