From March 3 - 8, 2025, we will be demonstrating our solidarity in all Leviat locations to promote women's rights and equality for women and girls around the world.
During this week, women and men from our company will support and honor the efforts and achievements (social, political, economic and cultural) that women have fought for worldwide for 115 years.
Under this year's motto: #AccelerateAction, meaning accelerate or drive actions and measures, the MODERSOHN® team in Spenge has taken the initiative and is figuratively standing up for women's equality and fairness in the workplace. Our goal continues to be to create an inclusive working atmosphere and drive meaningful change together.

In 2002, Wilhelm Modersohn became aware of the SAF2304 (1.4362) material through Avesta in Sweden. In 2003 Modersohn introduced the first Lean Duplex steel for system products in the German market for fastening systems.

As an independent representative of fastening systems from the company Lutz from Wertheim, Wilhelm Modersohn sen. had recognised early on that there was a great demand in the market for fastenings in the area of masonry facades. In March 1970, he and two employees founded the company, which today has over 140 employees.
