Connection systems for masonry are now produced in a wide range of variants. The origin of this term is certainly the wall connection anchors. They consist of a perforated flat steel, which has a fixing head on one side. The perforated flat surface is used for insertion into the horizontal joint of the masonry wall. Very often the head is punched out as a hammer head and can be inserted into a mounting or anchor rail. This enables a continuously height-adjustable retaining fastening from concrete to masonry, so that the wall connection anchor can be inserted exactly in the horizontal joint of the masonry wall to be connected.
If instead of the punched hammer head a hammer or hook head screw is welded into the flat steel, the wall connection anchor can also be fixed to the rail with a washer and nut.
Both variants are very often produced by MODERSOHN according to project requirements. Such wall connection anchor systems are often used for windposts and for attic facing anchors.

As an independent representative of fastening systems from the company Lutz from Wertheim, Wilhelm Modersohn sen. had recognised early on that there was a great demand in the market for fastenings in the area of masonry facades. In March 1970, he and two employees founded the company, which today has over 140 employees.
