Wall connection anchors are retaining anchors consisting of a perforated and / or profiled flat steel. They are used for the lateral stabilisation of the masonry wall and are inserted with one end into the mortar of the masonry joint during bricklaying. Usually they have a hammer head on the other side, which is continuously adjustable and can be hung in an anchor or mounting rail. This allows the wall connection anchor to be adjusted to fit the horizontal joint of the masonry wall.
A related product is the wall connector, which is, however, inserted on both sides with the ends during walling and therefore has the same perforation and / or profile throughout in flat steel. They are only suitable for butt joints of relatively identically constructed masonry walls, as the insertion joints must always be at the same height.
For this reason, MODERSOHN sells most of the wall connection anchors manufactured as a standard system or special form for hanging in a vertically arranged profile rail, the so-called wall connection rail.
