MODERSOHN has been manufacturing stainless steel trays for industrial purposes, often for the storage of hazardous substances, for many years. In addition to drip trays for castor containers in the nuclear power plant sector, the company has also manufactured drip trays for the paint shops of a large aircraft manufacturer or simple drip trays for production machines to prevent oils and cooling emulsions from seeping into the concrete.
However, a large proportion of the production is for system tubs for hazardous materials storage facilities, where MODERSOHN provides WHG certification and leakage tests (dye penetrant method or vacuum method) for the tubs.
In the case of very large baths, one is often already at the stage of lining the room. Experienced welders from MODERSOHN weld the cladding parts prefabricated in the factory together on site.

As an independent representative of fastening systems from the company Lutz from Wertheim, Wilhelm Modersohn sen. had recognised early on that there was a great demand in the market for fastenings in the area of masonry facades. In March 1970, he and two employees founded the company, which today has over 140 employees.
