The stable fastening of assembly scaffolding is only possible with special retaining anchors, especially for large or high buildings. These fixings, which remain permanently in the façade and are subjected to horizontal and tensile stresses, are always made of stainless steel in the double-skin façade construction.
The "scaffolding anchors for facing masonry" are designed with an internally threaded sleeve where only the mouth later protrudes in the joint area of the masonry façade. It is hardly visible because it is closed with a coloured cover cap that matches the masonry mortar. Only when scaffolding is erected for façade work is an eyebolt screwed into it, which establishes the connection to the scaffolding.
Modersohn also offers the "MOSO scaffolding anchors" in a form optimised for heat transfer in order to avoid thermal bridges.

As an independent representative of fastening systems from the company Lutz from Wertheim, Wilhelm Modersohn sen. had recognised early on that there was a great demand in the market for fastenings in the area of masonry facades. In March 1970, he and two employees founded the company, which today has over 140 employees.
