Facade substructures are a collective term for all retaining and support anchor systems behind the façade cladding, whereby the term substructure usually refers to a coherent system-based profile construction rather than an arrangement of individual anchors. The expectation is that such a substructure also offers a large degree of adjustment or adjustability for the specific fixing situation.
MODERSOHN offers such profile systems for heavy-duty facades (masonry facades, prefabricated concrete facades), especially for facade areas with difficult fixing substrates. These are e.g. windpost systems or parapet fixings. These systems guarantee high stability and adjustability. MODERSOHN also manufactures substructures for solar module clad facades according to customer specifications.

As an independent representative of fastening systems from the company Lutz from Wertheim, Wilhelm Modersohn sen. had recognised early on that there was a great demand in the market for fastenings in the area of masonry facades. In March 1970, he and two employees founded the company, which today has over 140 employees.
