Collecting trays are used in industry and construction for the safe collection of liquids and bulk materials, e.g. to prevent hazardous substances from seeping away or to collect useful substances.
MODERSOHN has been manufacturing stainless steel trays for industrial purposes for many years. In addition to drip trays in the food industry and e.g. for castor containers in the nuclear power plant sector, the company has also manufactured drip trays for the painting halls of a large aircraft manufacturer, or simple drip trays for production machines. A large proportion of the production is in the system tray production for hazardous materials storage, where MODERSOHN tests the trays without interruption before delivery with WHG certification and leakage tests (dye penetration method or vacuum test method). In the case of very large tubs, one is often already at the stage of lining the room. Experienced welders from MODERSOHN then weld the cladding parts prefabricated in the factory together on site.
With very large trays, one can rather speak of a room liner.

As an independent representative of fastening systems from the company Lutz from Wertheim, Wilhelm Modersohn sen. had recognised early on that there was a great demand in the market for fastenings in the area of masonry facades. In March 1970, he and two employees founded the company, which today has over 140 employees.
