Intercity-Hotel, Herford

With its unusual brick façade, the 4-star Intercity Hotel blends wonderfully into the cityscape of the Herford art and design quarter of the district town. Visually, the building impresses with its dark clinker brick façade, which has a relief look that lends it a very special charm. Depending on the daylight, this creates a dynamic interplay of depths and lights. The design-oriented business hotel is being built in the direct vicinity of the MARTa Museum, known for its asymmetrical architecture and also a renowned MODERSOHN reference.

MODERSOHN supplied the standard angle bracket anchors, as well as additional edge profiles, reveal angles and over 15,000 air-layer anchors for the dark clinker facing façade.
